Five things, Renata approved!
Dudes, you are in for a treat! Not only do you get to know one thing about me, but, you get to know FIVE. Yes, five. Sure, this may appear to be completely self absorbed, however, this is my blog, remember? Yes, my blog and I do what I want (said in the sweetest of voices, trust). I've written a couple times about different little things that make me who I am. Yet, those are but tiny bits in the whole that is I. Plus, if you come here to my little corner of the internet it must mean you want to get to know me? Am I right? I am right! Otherwise, you are a complete loon. Yes, I said it. A lunatic. I mean who comes to read a blog about someone they are not the least bit interested in? Exactly. So, shall we?
(1) One//
I can make a three leaf clover with my tongue. Yes, you read that correctly. I discovered this "talent" (if you can call it that) at the age of twelve after watching an episode of "What Would You Do". It's quiet remarkable and absurdly entertaining. And weird. Most definitely weird.
(2) Two//
When I was thirteen my mother, my grandmother and my brother left me at Dunkin Donuts. This was before the time where middle schoolers owned cell phones. They were almost home when they realized I wasn't in the car. My brother knew the whole time (little rascal). Till this day he thinks it is hilarious. He randomly says, "Renata, remember when Mommy left you at Dunkin Donuts?". You should watch him tell the story. It's okay, we only lived 10 minutes away. I am totally scar free.
(3) Three//
When I was four I was contracted to appear in a Sears Christmas commercial. Filming would start on the very same day we were leaving for a two month vacation to Brazil. Needless-to-say, we went to Brazil. I could have been the next Gisele, mother! What were you thinking? Sigh.
(4) Four//
When I really like an article of clothing. I really like an article of clothing. When I was younger there was this green dress that I wore ALL the time. I would have worn it every day had my mother allowed it. One time my mother joked and said, "Renata, when you decide to take off that dress it is going to come running after you". Take off the dress? Momma, who are you kidding. The dress and I only parted ways when it no longer fit. It was a sad day, for the dress.
(5) Five//
I will do anything to get an extra five minutes of sleep in the mornings. ANYTHING! Waking me is equivalent to poking a hibernating bear. In the third grade I went to sleep with my school outfit underneath my pajamas. When I awoke in the morning I took my pajamas off and put on my keds. Voila! I was ready for school. Talk about practical. Okay, and lazy. Those extra five minutes are golden. My mother could not believe how quickly I had gotten dressed that morning. Later on that day I let her in on my little secret. She laughed, I laughed. I didn't do it again. Have you slept in two layers of clothes? I do not recommend it.
Tell me five things about yourself. Come on, sharing is caring. Do it! Do it! Please?
xoxo
