Mission Accomplished!

I know what you are thinking.  You have never seen such a beautiful group of women.  I know, I KNOW!  Seriously, T you may just have the best looking bridesmaids in the history of bridesmaids.  For serious.

This morning was fabulous.  Dress fitting, muffin eating, goodie bag receiving fabulous.  Did we find the absolute perfect bridesmaid dress? Oh, yes we did.  Did we do it in less than an hour?  Absolutely.  It must be said that T is the most easy going bride I have ever encountered.  No bridezilla here ya'll!  Unless of course she is waiting for just the right moment to surprise us with the bride tantrum (hmm, I doubt it).

It should be said that I am looking forward to all the festivities in store for this beautiful bride-to-be.

So, here is to the many more laughs, the bonding and the memories we will form along the way.  It isn't every day you meet a group of wonderful people!

In Domain Limbo.

I have made it to Friday!  This week-was-not-what-I-expected!  In between the back and forth e-mails trying to resolve the issue with my domain name and the insanity that encompasses that thing I call "work", Friday, I am so ecstatic you have arrived.  Ecstatic doesn't quite describe my feeling, though.  If I weren't too tired I'd be skipping around my house (yes, I skip, so?).  So, here is the down low of the current situation with my domain.  If you go to www.LittleMissRen.com you will still see my site up (I am trying to transfer my domain).  However, I have made the decision to transfer to blogger.    Boy, I thought the process would be much more simple.  Was I wrong?  Oh, yes, very much so.  Therefore, until ALL my issues are resolved (anyone technologically savvy out there? help, please!) you will be able to follow "Little Miss Ren" here at www.LittleMissRen.blogspot.com.  Hopefully (fingers crossed!) I will have this whole domain thing solved by next week.  Until then, well, I guess I have two blogs?  Eh.  What is a girl to do?  And, that face up there?  That is the face I've been making every-single-time I realize, MY DOMAIN HAS NOT TRANSFERRED!  Happy Friday!  And, if someone out there knows ANYTHING about transferring a domain, well, share, please and thank you!

Big Pimpin'

First time they fuss I'm breezin'
Talki'n 'bout, what's the reasons?
I'm a pimp in every sense of the word
Better trust than believe 'em

Every moment in our lives should have a theme song.  Yes, a theme song.  Because, this afternoon, when I laid my pretty little eyes on this G650 the first thing that came to mind was, "Big Pimpin'".  For serious.  Don't think so?  I.Will.Let.You.In.On.A.Little.Secret.  The price tag on this little thang is $65 million.  As in dollars.  Yes, dollars.  Sixty five million dollars.  Exactly.  Impressive, isn't it?  And, don't be mistaken, The Far East Movement song "Like a G6" does not refer to this beauty.  Here is a fun fact for you, a "G6" does not even exist (yes, it was made up for the sole purpose of sounding "catchy").  The next thing that came to mind while Jay-Z serenaded my inner most thoughts was, "Who in the world can afford this?".  Like, really.  Have you considered how much $65 million is?  Can you think of all the little black suit cases it would fill?  Imagine all the shoes you could buy.  Just-think-about-it.  Now, boys and girls, sing it with me, big pimpin' spendin' cheese, big pimpin'....

I've lost my mind...

The end of Monday is drawing near.  I, more than most, know just how tough Mondays can be.  Trust me.  Today I left work early to go to a dentist appointment.  I am uber excited that I have made it to the dentist on time (a rare occasion these days).  I park my car and walk towards the office.  I go inside, sign in, give the receptionist my name.  Not even a second goes by when said receptionist goes, "Sweetheart, your appointment is tomorrow".  Say what?  I say, "Are you sure, isn't it on March 5th?".  "Yes, it is on March 5th", says the receptionist.  So, I am standing there looking at her, giving her the, "THEN WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT" face, when she politely responds, "Tomorrow is March 5th".  CRAP!  Did I just drive close to half an hour for no reason.  Oh, yes.  Yes I did.  There are no words.  I laughed it off and said, "Okay, I'll see you tomorrow".  I am positive she must think I am a lunatic.  I get in my car and drive my crazy self back to work.  How do you explain this to your co-workers?  I mean, seriously.  How does one forget what day her appointment is?  If you are thinking, "Get a planner!".  This crazy lady says, "Dude, I have one, okay, I have two!".  And, I totally penciled "Dentist" on today's date.  So, in case you happen to come across my mind (it is definitely out there somewhere), please feel free to contact me.  My mind may be a little crabby at first, but, just offer some chocolate.  Chocolate always does the trick.

And, hallelujah, tomorrow is Tuesday!

Cinco. Five. Cinq. Cinque.

Picture
Five things, Renata approved!
Dudes, you are in for a treat!  Not only do you get to know one thing about me, but, you get to know FIVE.  Yes, five.  Sure, this may appear to be completely self absorbed, however, this is my blog, remember?  Yes, my blog and I do what I want (said in the sweetest of voices, trust).  I've written a couple times about different little things that make me who I am.  Yet, those are but tiny bits in the whole that is I.  Plus, if you come here to my little corner of the internet it must mean you want to get to know me?  Am I right?  I am right!  Otherwise, you are a complete loon.  Yes, I said it.  A lunatic.  I mean who comes to read a blog about someone they are not the least bit interested in?  Exactly.  So, shall we?

(1) One//
I can make a three leaf clover with my tongue.  Yes, you read that correctly.  I discovered this "talent" (if you can call it that) at the age of twelve after watching an episode of "What Would You Do".  It's quiet remarkable and absurdly entertaining.  And weird.  Most definitely weird.

(2) Two//
When I was thirteen my mother, my grandmother and my brother left me at Dunkin Donuts.  This was before the time where middle schoolers owned cell phones.  They were almost home when they realized I wasn't in the car.  My brother knew the whole time (little rascal).  Till this day he thinks it is hilarious.  He randomly says, "Renata, remember when Mommy left you at Dunkin Donuts?".  You should watch him tell the story.  It's okay, we only lived 10 minutes away.  I am totally scar free.

(3) Three//
When I was four I was contracted to appear in a Sears Christmas commercial.  Filming would start on the very same day we were leaving for a two month vacation to Brazil.  Needless-to-say, we went to Brazil.  I could have been the next Gisele, mother! What were you thinking?  Sigh.

(4) Four//
When I really like an article of clothing.  I really like an article of clothing.  When I was younger there was this green dress that I wore ALL the time.  I would have worn it every day had my mother allowed it.  One time my mother joked and said, "Renata, when you decide to take off that dress it is going to come running after you".  Take off the dress?  Momma, who are you kidding.  The dress and I only parted ways when it no longer fit.  It was a sad day, for the dress.

(5) Five//
I will do anything to get an extra five minutes of sleep in the mornings.  ANYTHING!  Waking me is equivalent to poking a hibernating bear.  In the third grade I went to sleep with my school outfit underneath my pajamas.  When I awoke in the morning I took my pajamas off and put on my keds.  Voila!  I was ready for school.  Talk about practical.  Okay, and lazy.  Those extra five minutes are golden.  My mother could not believe how quickly I had gotten dressed that morning.  Later on that day I let her in on my little secret.  She laughed, I laughed.  I didn't do it again.  Have you slept in two layers of clothes?  I do not recommend it.

Tell me five things about yourself. Come on, sharing is caring.  Do it! Do it! Please?
